I have been feeling quite down recently and finding the financial ups and downs of being an artist challenging. I paint and draw and make things because it is my passion and I have to as much as I have to eat and breathe so it make sense to do this to make an income but then you find yourself doing work that you think "will sell" and wondering if this necessity will compromise the integrity of your work.
I do know that I want to do work that people will respond to and fall in love with and find a connection to... and pay for!!!
